Welcome to Reclaiming Your Sensitivity

While your sensitivity may feel like a burden, it’s actually a gift. We need more sensitives to balance our modernity – you are the sensitive place that creativity and dreams come from.

This is a series of tried and tested techniques for building more bandwidth so your sensitivity becomes a trusted friend as opposed to just another thing you have to deal with. Throughout the five weeks, you’ll learn to build and layer your inner core 'energy' to build a deeper strength and more capacity that you can come back to time and time again. 

The result?

You learn to live more fully and to engage with life on your terms with clear boundaries and knowing how to settle yourself and your body and to spot when you have tipped over the edge into overwhelm.

I know, because I specialise in teaching sensitive people to understand how sensitivity is an extra sense and how it is hardwired into our nervous systems. Once we understand this, we can become resilient and robust around the pressures of modern life – especially if we find ourselves being frequently overwhelmed by people, places and situations.

How it Works

  • You get weekly access to modules in an easy to use format, with downloadable audio practices, PDFs and spoken word content with an occasional video.

  • An opportunity to use creative processes as well as embodied imagination practice in each lesson

  • Lessons released every week over a five week period.

  • Allow about an hour a week for the lessons.

  • Practicing the techniques daily leads to change. When you start, it will take about 15 to 20 minutes; with practice and familiarity with the exercises, the quicker they become.

Practicing them brings you robustness and resilience, helps you to settle your system so you can find more space in your body, and remain centred and grounded and know when to step away.

Reclaim your Sensitivity was originally released as Self-Care for Sensitives, some of the material in the course refers to it as 'Self Care for Sensitives' - please be patient with me as I slowly change the videos and materials to give it a fresh new feel... it is, as always, a work in progress in balancing my life between this work, family life and being outside in my garden!

I am already stressed, how can I take this on?

I hear you, life can be really intense at times. Remember you have life time access with the point being you go at your own pace. Many folk say that just doing the first lesson really helps them deal with life and then when you are ready the other lessons are there for you when you have the space.

Can I get the techniques wrong?

No! They are simple, easy to use and there is no wrong way to do them... if you find a different way of doing something that works for you - I will be delighted and please let me know!!

Will I need to practice?

Yes, to get full benefit of the exercises it is very helpful to practice them regularly, building them into a routine. This then establishes the “muscle memory so they become second nature. For them to truly work well you need to practice for a good 15-20 minutes ideally daily for at least a month. Soon they will become second nature to you.

How much time will the course take per week?

Each lesson is about an hour long, the practices are short, no more than 20 minutes.

Is this all airy fairy, woo woo, fluffball stuff?

Hands up, I admit I am led by my intuition, and I love an oracle card and an essence. However this is rooted in the science of our nervous system, and how our senses and our sensory awareness cannot be seperated from our fight, flight and freeze drives - which can easily lead us into overwhelm.
I try and steer away from new agey platitudes and really invite you into your body - for some it's a step too far and that's ok. If you are unsure - reach out!

How long is the course?

The duration is about 5 weeks, with lessons released every week to give you time to practice.

How is the course delivered?

Within each section there is a downloadable pdf document, with creative journal prompts, this is also recorded into spoken word.
The practices are downloadable audios,  and in some sections there is a video.

Do you offer a concessionary rate?

Yes, I am a firm believer that healing and techniques such as this are not restricted to the financially fluid. That being said I really ask folk to consider the value of what is on offer.
